Setting up subdomains
Good day.
I already successfully set up two subdomains on websiteswanted.eu. One is clientview.websiteswanted.eu and the other clientview2.websiteswanted.eu. The problem is that I do not remember how I did it, and I now wish to set up a further subdomain.
- Is there an easy way to set up a subdomain from the client panel?
- Is there a way to set up password access to each subdomain?
Thanks

Thanks very much for your help so far.
I followed the instructions and moved the files into /subdom (previously they were under /domains)
The ‚aktivini‘ index page appeared for both subdomains, with a notice saying I should delete index.html
I did this, and now cannot access the subdomains – 403 Forbidden.
Should I wait for this to resolve, or have I done something wrong?
Do you have the correct directory structure on your FTP site https://kb.wedos.com/en/web-hosting/basic-information-en/directory-structure-of-webhosting/ ?
Do you have our default .htaccess file https://kb.wedos.com/cs/webhosting/htaccess/htaccess-na-webhostingu/ (czech only) in the /www folder ?
Hi again. Structure is correct; .htaccess file is Wedos default (plus the https:// lines at the top). Should the same .htaccess file also be in each individual subdomain folder? I notice these have different size .htaccess files…
Hello,
No, the default .htaccess file should only be in the /www folder. And in the /subdomain directory you have a subdomain directory with some content in it?
