root password problem
Hello,
I’ve installed Ubuntu image on my VM and setup password as showed in this tutorial https://kb.wedos.com/cs/webhosting/vps-on-instalace-pripraveneho-os/. The problem is that I need to restart the VM for password to be set up but when I restart, the password field becomes empty and I can’t login. Is there some workaround?

Hello,
where do you enter the new password? Via SSH or VNC in Nebula? Are you sure you are entering the password correctly? A different keyboard layout can also be a problem, for example when connecting via VNC.
I’ve tried that, waited till the VM would be completely off but still when I turn it on, the PASSWORD field becomes empty and I can’t login

If you are setting a password in the Nebula administration, you must first turn off the server, set the password and then turn on the server from the Nebula administration.
